Are you just starting the program from the start menu?

    Hi there,

I have the exact same problem here and i am running the same operating system, i get the problem when i click the icon in updated cache, when i start it from the start menu i get installing the program and when it finishes installing i get the home page where i donated the money to have this program , it was running no problems but something went wrong with my operating system and had to restore my operating system with ghost and obviously the program was not installed when i done my backup with ghost, any ideas to what is happening here as nothing has changed since the first time i installed it any help would be appreciated

    thanks

    Try this (from my FAQ):

Why does Windows Installer keep starting when I try to run SVCD2DVDMPG+?

Whilst I have never been able to replicate this problem on any of my systems, a few people have had this issue. I have written a small fix:

http://www2.svcd2dvdmpg.com/RemoveMSI.exe - you need to save it first before you run it.

It removes Windows Installer settings for SVCD2DVDMPG+. It will render useless the shortcut you currently have but you can delete that & create another. Alternatively you should be able to start the app from the program folder. So depending on where you are in your cycle:

    Install SVCD2DVDMPG+
    Run removemsi.exe
Run SVCD2DVDMPG+. (as its the first time it will update itself)
    Sort out shortcut.
You should have no more problems now.
