    I have been using VOB2MPG for some time (basic and pro) and have only recently had problems with subtitles appearing despite them being turned off on the DVD. Sometimes they appear in the MPG and other times they appear after conversion to DIVX/AVI. Not all DVDs involved are recent, so it doesn't seem to be something in DVD authoring. Somehow I usually get the result I want but in a couple of cases I just couldn't get rid of the subtitles. I would be grateful for feedback on this issue.
