  2. Very interesting challenge.

The playlist #EXTM3U looks like this

    Code:
    #EXTM3U
    #EXT-X-VERSION:3
    #EXT-X-TARGETDURATION:8
    #EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE:0

This type of playlist is not a candidate for yt-dl as yt-dl does not expect urls to be in .png format

Downloading a sample .png indicates that the reference file is not a .png file. This file is actually a mp4 file renamed to .png.

Therefore, you have to download all the .png files and after download, you rename to .mp4

I downloaded the first video file and here a frame capture ...

Hi, actually I have the same problem and I did try your method to rename a few sample of the PNG files to MP4 but it cannot be played. Please find below are the few lines from the m3u8 files itself. Any ideas what kind of encryption they are using ? very curious to find what kind of technique they are using. Thanks

I thought that too because neither PotPlayer nor VLC played the file (I'm talking about the previous case).
Then I tried with the native Movies & TV app on Windows 10 and it played.
