Hi everyone!
I want to upgrade my Canon XA10 camera for something better that suits my needs. Mostly I'm recording long discourses and I think Full HD is enough, especially for archival purposes. I would prefer real progressive recording (so that I don't have to always deinterlace), better image quality than Canon XA10, phantom output (but an optional hq internal mic, which canon lacks, would also be good).
Or maybe go for 4k, do the editing and get better quality output in 1080p or 720p and save the original in 1080 or something less 4k to save space? It would still be better than starting off from a hd input, I guess.
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance!
