BA:DRICk DiVX on DVD +rw as a data file

I have burn some of my DIVX files on to a DVD + rw. But the problem is when i run the same file from my hardrive there are no pause in film, but u can some pause when runnning through the dvd+rw drive.

Sounds like the drive is either struggling with the media (dirt?) or you've encoded at a bitrate that the drive just can't maintain.

I'd give the CD a damn good clean, check for any firmware patches for the DVD drive and make sure that the drive is configured within Windows for optimum performance (e.g. DMA on)
