I have a Panasonic HC-V720 Camcorder, which I managed to get slightly wet. On turning on the camera the lens cover has opened, and a steady amber light now appears on the rear of the camera, also there is a red light on by the SD card aperture. I have allowed the camera to dry (10 days now) and it is still not functioning. I have searched the instructions and cannot find any amber / orange light error conditions mentioned. Is there any reset / cure for this.
    Thanks.

Removing all power for about 1 minute should reset the camera. That lamp on the back is a status indicator. If it shows Caution I would say the camera is not passing its power-on test. Probably some contacts shorted when the camera got wet and caused permanent damage.
