  1. Can a newer verson of FFMPEG be used with SVCD2DVD?

I'm trying to convert BD-9 to DVD-9. Using tsMuxeR to create .ts file from .m2ts
Using the latest version of SVCD2DVD I have problems with FFMPEG failing
This happens with 2-pass and may also be related to high bitrate.
    It does work with 1-pass.

So can a newer version of FFMPEG be used since the one in the SVCD2DVD package is from 2008?
Or is an update to SVCD2DVD coming soon. Would also be great if it could read m2ts files directly.

    Thanks

  2. OK, tried it with the newest version of FFMPEG and it won't load the asset.

Anyone know why 2-pass mode doesn't work with packaged FFMPEG?

  3. It's a known issue and has so far been determined that there is no visible difference between 1 and 2 pass. Just stick to 1 pass.

I will upgrade ffmpeg and look into m2ts files.

Jikchung is correct with the post above regarding 2 pass.

  11. Was there ever a solution to this? I'm getting the ffmpeg stopped working error all the time now. Basically means the program is unusable
