  1. I'm planning to buy a new full HD computer monitor. What I know for sure is that I'm not going to use it for playing video games. Other than that, would use it primarily for making real-time computer simulations, watching videos (mostly soccer matches), and doing stuff in various Windows programs. Would like to get some advice what parameters should I pay attention to, what brands are reliable, and similar.

    Sorry, hopefully others will chime in with your additional info.

    I can't help because I love my 5:4 Dell 2007FPs and have a couple of spares to keep me going for a while. 16:9 monitors remind me of being at work! And any non-YouTube viewing is done on my my HDTVs.

  6. if i had to buy a monitor or tv in 2020 it would be HDR10 / dolby vision compatible imo
