You can choose various categories. (See screenshot red arrows). For example, Symphony Cast and Performance Today are 2 hour long music streams or download to listen without internet.
To download Performance Today, use the following pattern:

http://download.publicradio.org/performance_today/2017/04/11/pt1_20170411_128.mp3

This will download the first hour for April 11, 2017.
To download the second hour, just change the 1 to 2, so you have:

http://download.publicradio.org/performance_today/2017/04/11/pt2_20170411_128.mp3

To download other days, just change the date (in both places) in above url.
For example, to download April 07, first hour, use this url:

http://download.publicradio.org/performance_today/2017/04/07/pt1_20170407_128.mp3

Other categories can be downloaded. For example, Symphony Cast use:

http://download.publicradio.org/symphonycast/2017/04/10/symphonycast1_20170410_128.mp3

This will download the first hour of April, 10, 2017 show.
Weekday dates (and dates up to 30 days old) are valid for downloading.
