I have movie with audio in AAC 361kbps. I want to rip this audio and add to container with movie. In movie other sound tracks are in AC3, minimum 640. I heard that AC3 requires 2-2.5 times higher bit rate to get the same (yeah, very similar) quality as in AAC. Is there sense to make AC3 640 from this AAC?

IF the AAC track has 6 channels ("5.1") then 360 kbps is an adequate bitrate for that.

Is there sense to make AC3 640 from this AAC?
Only if you have to convert to AC3 because of a hardware limitation.
