  1. Hi guys.

Given a Dolby TrueHD audio track of a BD, how can I check if is in Atmos or not (the same for DTS:X)?

    Thanks

  2. Do you just have the audio track as a file on your PC? Or are you trying to find if the disc has Dolby Atmos? If just a file, you can check using MediaInfo GUI and it will tell you. Otherwise I would look up the disc on Blu-ray Forum and it will have the disc catalogued with what audio tracks it has.

    I have both.

    What's the Blu-Ray Forum?

Just look at the box. If it has Atmos, it would be labeled as such.

mean: not recognizing by listening, but technically. Any software? Any file to search for?
    Thanks

    Has already been mentioned: mediainfo.
Dolby allows for Atmos to be incorporated as an enhanced substream of either a TrueHD or an (E)AC3 (Dolby Digital/DD+) main audio stream, all encapsulated (muxed?) as 1 track.
