The new version of CCExtractor 0.86 have been released on 9th January 2018 here.

I just want to ask if it has been compiled for Windows yet.

In Videohelp download page for CCExtractor, the latest version is 0.85b

Below is the steps to compile it for Windows. Unfortunately, I don't have Visual Studio to do this.

    Appreciate if someone can help.

    Code:
    Windows

Open the windows/ccextractor.sln file with Visual Studio (2015 at least), and build it.

    Configurations options are: (Debug|Release)-Full

Configurations options include dependent libraries which are used for OCR.

    Using CMake

You may also generate .sln files for Visual Studio and build using build tools, or open .sln files using Visual Studio.

    cmake ../src/ -G "Visual Studio 14 2015"
cmake --build . --config Release --ccextractor

  2. From CCExtractor's website:
0.86 includes lots of changes (from Google Code-In). We've decided to release the source code only, and skip the Windows binaries for this version. We need to update the GUI to include all options. 0.87 will be released soon-ish and will be a full release with Windows as well.

Thanks for your reply Hurda, but, I would like to test the fixes that been done on release 0.86 especially for DVB Subs.

Appreciate if someone could compile the Windows Build.

Bumping this older thread. It looks like 0.87 has been released, but no Windows binaries still. Anyone with any help?

I'm looking at downloading Visual Studio to see if I can compile it myself, but I have no knowledge of how to do this correctly.

version 0.87 has been released with windows binaries here.

Nevertheless, it seems that there are still issues with some DVB subtitles.
