Why MPC-HC displays "Avidemux muxed" resolution 720x576, and original video e "Toolnix muxed" resolution 787x576?

    Additional question:
Why are "Format" and "Length" also changed (slightly) when comparing "Toolnix muxed" with "Avidemux muxed"?

  2. Avidemux doesn't seem to retain any anamorphic aspect ratio when remuxing. It appears to be a bug.

The format/length difference may be because by default MKVToolNix saves statistic tags when muxing so MediaInfo shouldn't have to guess. That's the only logical reason I can think of for that one. What does MPC-HC say regarding the duration in the navigation bar? It uses MediaInfo to obtain some information.

MPC-HC shows all videos (original, Toolnix, Avidemux) length = 1:21:27

Thank you for taking your time with my problem.

  5. You can obtain ms durations from MPC-HC by right clicking on the status bar where the duration is displayed and selecting "high precision" (while a video is open). I'm not saying that'll guarantee it's always 100% accurate, but it'll display durations in hours, minutes, seconds and milliseconds.
