Hi I was given a JVC DR DX5 and I recorded and old VHS onto the HDD. I can play from the HDD and want to burn it to DVD. I press dubbing and then HDD to DVD. Select video and burn it to DVD. The DVD will only play on the DR-DX5 it wont play on computer or DVD player. Anyone ever see this. The computer thinks its a Blank DVD even though I can see on the disc where it was burnt. As I said it will play no problem on the JVC itself.

Find the manual. You need to look for a word like "finalize" in the dubbing process section of the manual.
