Hello, I am trying to digitize my old VHS tapes and my Hi8 tapes as well. I am not looking for the greatest video quality ever, but when i hook up the RCA/AV cables to my TV (Panasonic Plasma) it looks decent. When I connect the cables to the UCEC converter I bought that connects to my 2018 Macbook pro via USB connection, the picture is much, much darker and there are sometime lines.
