    Hi,

I have been reading in this forum for quite some time. But here is MY FIRST QUESTION!

I am looking for a programm / an application / a tool / a utility that can do the follwing:

Extract still pictures from a video file in a regular interval and put all these stills in one jpg file (as an overview).

I have googled a lot but found nothing for Apple Mac that would do that.

    Any help is appreciated!

  2. Hi,

You can do that with the Search Pane in SimpleMovieX.
    http://aeroquartet.com/SimpleMovieX/

Once you've displayed your 16 or 64 frames taken at a regular interval, just use Screen Capture to do a screenshot of the pane and you have an overview.
Of course, it's a bit limited but it works.

    Regards, BJ

Hi BJ, thanks for the hint.

I had a look at it, but cannot find where I can "display my 16 or 64 frames at a regular interval". What is the menue I have to chose / click on?

And if you happen to be on the PC rather than a Mac . . . ?
(I know ways to get single capture shots -- this is a different situation.)
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form.
