    Right, normally burn at the max speed, which is 4x for my writer and the discs i normally use.

    Normally get my discs from Rambox - Ritek Aritas +R but they were sold out so got These instead.

    Tried burning a few discs at normally and it's taking 28minutes and says it's burniung at 2.3x despite trying it on 'Max Speed' and '4x'.

    Anyone know what that's all about and how to fix it?:undecided

    Your burner doesnt have enough compatiblity to burn those discs at 4X. Either a firmware update or different disc can help. BUT! a FW update wont fix the issue with those discs in particular for sure, its just possible.
    COPIED OVER 600 DVDS SO FAR

    Make it easier for us & say what writer & what media you are using exactly. Try left column media & writer topics, they are great.
