    Hey,
    I was wondering if you can convert a flash animation to a .mpg (to use as a intro to an encoded movie).

    Yes u can covert .swf/.fla to .mpg. Simply open the file in flash 4 or 5 and export movie as an avi file, u should use uncompressed full frame codec for best results and than encode the avi using Tmpgenc. Hope this helps.
