AC3 to AAC

Hi guys, I have several audio tracks in AC3 format and I need to convertir it in AAC format Is there some that you can recommend?

Thank You buddy, but I tried it and when I go encode the program ask me for two dlls, I found this dlls on internet, I put this files in same Belight directory, I go encode and nothing happens

Audacity will open AC-3s. I just tried to "Export Audio..." an AC-3 file from a ripped DVD and it gave me the option of AAC.

clever FFmpeg GUI, Audacity, etc... use ffmpeg libraries, so why don't use ffmpeg directly?

XMedia Recode. I use it for all my audio conversions.
You can batch process too.

I might be missing something, but when I try to import an AC3 audio file into Audacity it says it can't open AC3 and I need to convert to WAV or AIFF myself beforehand.

You need to install the ffmeg addon for audacity.

Audacity will open AC-3s. I just tried to "Export Audio..." an AC-3 file from a ripped DVD and it gave me the option of AAC.

I tried that but I export the DTS, AC3, but when I select export in the list appears m4a (aac) is that? and if I select give me "the file will export as mono

I don´t know after import, what to do?

Which version of Audacity?

The ffmeg addon for audacity has to be installed to get at least stereo,in audacity edit/preferences/libraries you will find a download link.
