    Hi guys, I have several audio tracks in AC3 format and I need to convertir it in AAC format Is there some that you can recommend?

    Thank You buddy, but I tried it and when I go encode the program ask me for two dlls, I found this dlls on internet, I put this files in same Belight directory, I go encode and nothing happens

    Audacity will open AC-3s. I just tried to "Export Audio..." an AC-3 file from a ripped DVD and it gave me the option of AAC.

    clever FFmpeg GUI, Audacity, etc... use ffmpeg libraries, so why don't use ffmpeg directly?

    I might be missing something, but when I try to import an AC3 audio file into Audacity it says it can't open AC3 and I need to convert to WAV or AIFF myself beforehand.

    You need to install the ffmeg addon for audacity.

    The ffmeg addon for audacity has to be installed to get at least stereo,in audacity edit/preferences/libraries you will find a download link.
