    I normaly place the subtitles at the bottom of the screen. This time I need to change the vertical position to "Top of screen" (see my red arrow in the attachment). However, the only choice that is operational is "Bottom of screen". The other two are grayed out.

    Amazing! Yes, ProWo, that was the way to do it, by changing the "bottom offset, pixels" value. I first tried 480 but the line came up on the center of the screen, then I changed it to 950 and it was at the top. I still can play with it, like a little higher or a smaller font, but what is important is that what you suggested is the way to do it.
