Eadycap problem

I have a strange issue.when i conect my VCR to PC through EASYCAP,video shown in pc with colorfull
Horizental strips or sometime black n white..for testing purposes i was also conectmy vcr directly at my home LCD..vcr result was perfect
I dont understand why i cant get clear video
In my pc who was i capture from VCR
Plsssss help

Because it's a fake product not conform to the video standards, Did you check PAL, NTSC, SECAM settings?

Thanks for kind reply...yeh i check at my camcorder..
My easycap supported camcorder signals and capture fine but prob is that when i attach easycap with vcr so lines are found at screen.pls check this

It's probably a faulty capture card.

I am sorry but nothing can help you if your card is broken. You can still try changing the cables, cleaning the capture card analogue inputs, use different vcrs...

If none of that seems to fix the problem, just buy a better card.

I use power director
Ulead video studi
But still found colors bars in movie

I am sorry but nothing can help you if your card is broken. You can still try changing the cables, cleaning the capture card analogue inputs, use different vcrs...

If none of that seems to fix the problem, just buy a better card.

You have to spend a but more money next time tho, since not every cheap thing is good

Your VCR and/or tape are in bad condition too. You're going to need a time base corrector.

No my vcr are running/play movies perfect.i was tested to play direct at my LCD TV result was sharp..i was also tried with PCI INTERNAL CAPTURE card(msi tv@nywhere)
Also result was perfect but worry due to easycap dirty output

Why don't you use internal capture card instead?


Also, timebase corrector is used to normalise the rate of information coming from a worn out tape (making the video more stable and minimising number of artefacts).

Actually my pc are small factor casing(dell optiplax 790)
So mostly internel cards didnt fit in my casing so thats why i use easycap.
I also need to know that if i arange firewire card for pc who easily
Fit in my pc so what cable i use who have a/v to firewire(ieee)conection

Don't use easycap. Open your computer during video digitalisation and close it after.
