  1. There is a 22" LG TV that the manufacturer description indicates that it is 1080p. However, one Amazon reviewer said this is false; digging carefully into the specs, he said the TV was 720p. (I was under the impression that all 22" TVs are 720p.)
    This brings up the simple question: is there some kind of downloadable test pattern that would easily and definitively verify if a TV is 720 or 1080?

  2. I used to have a 22" TV that was 1080p. Attached is a test pattern you can use. Make sure the TV is not set to overscan. On a 1080p with pixel-for-pixel mapping you will be able to see the individual black and white lines with no distortions in the "1" area.
