  1. "Looking for AVI PAR..." is a new message to me, just seen in the Log.

    What does it mean ?

    BTW, there is lots of room to the right to spell it out in more detail.

    If S2D doesn't find it would the user be in deep spooge ?

    What it means is that if your avi has a non 1:1 pixel aspect ratio then it will deal with it....

    Most avi files have 1:1 PAR but some have a 16:9 PAR. In such cases SVCD2DVD will flag a 16:9 mpeg, regardless of the VIDEO aspect ratio. This was a request a few months ago. If no non standard PAR is found then nothing "new" will happen.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
