  1. I got Highlander 4 as AVI but it was too big for a Cd, so I cut it and converted it to MPG (Pal VCD Format.) but both of these are lager then Cds, is there an app out there that'll make the sound and/or picture quality slightly less, to make it fit, or it this one of the ones I'll have to have as AVI over 2 discs..?

  2. if you want it to be an avi then reencode with a smaller bitrate in virtual dub.... if you want it to be an mpg then reencode it with a smaller bitrate in tmpgenc.

    Use a bitrate calculator. You may reduce the DivX bitrate. Before reducing the mpg bitrate recall, that not all players will support XVCD and definitely the quality get worse.
