I have tried output x264 or x265, different Softwares, same result.
I have K-lite mega installed with Lot of Stuff option and all the parameters reset to the defaults.

Any tip on how to resolve this?

    Thanks!

  2. How do you create your "input" screenshot? Try to use that decoder for transcoding.

Why the error? Not possible to tell from this. You can try demuxing the/a broken scene and remux using latest mkvmerge. Still same error? Try to play using ffplay. Same error? Report to ffmpeg team. (most free softwares use the ffmpeg decoder. If available try QuickSync decoder included in HandBrake.) Worst case file is simply broken and the decoder you used for "input" screenshot has better error concealment.

Or, if the QS (or other hardware/DXVA) decoder is already enabled, turn it off. Hardware decoders often deliver problems like this.

  4. Hardware acceleration is disabled as far as I can see.
The images you see are print screen when played back.
The issue appears encoding, if I demux the source I'm certain there will be no issue. Or did you mean demux the output?
