  1. Hello to all,
I am writing to kindly ask if someone can give me a tip on this issue:
since yesterday, when the PC starts, I get a message saying there's a problem with the

    ASUS VIRTUAL CAPTURE DEVICE DRIVER,
"reinstall the drivers for this device (code 18)."

In fact, when I try to capture a movie with Pinnacle, a message window pops up and tries to start the updating process of the Asus VIRTUAL CAPTURE DEVICE DRIVER.

I tried to update the driver with the automatic XP procedure, and also with the Asus cd that the seller left me at the time, but I can not find a driver going to solve the problem.

I do not know what is the device the driver searches for, I can not figure out if it is a hardware component of the video capture card or something else...

This driver is not found, however, nor in the discs that I left the technical nor on the Asustek site .
    • My operating system is XP Professional SP3,
    • My video card is Nvidia 7200 GS Geoforce ...
    • My capture card is a Pinnacle 500 PCI

I thank all those who can give me some suggestions on what to do ...
