Batch processing in Avidemux 2.6

I am trying to batch process videos with Avidemux 2.6.6, but I am totally illiterate in terms of programming or scripting.

I have looked at Avidemux wiki, but I miss the basic knowledge of how to even use the script. When I search the forums it's too advanced. Plus, as I understand starting from certain time the scriptung in Avidemux also changed...

Is there are step-by-step tutorial, how to batch process or can anyone give me a push here, so I can get going?

I want to encode a bunch of H.264 mp4 videos as 350kbps H.264 and with AAC audio 128 kbps. Save them to a new location as well.

Are you going to use any filter? If not then it's easier to batch convert with for example vidcoder, xmedia recode, etc.
