To Apple, good security means no Flash or WMV, or drag and drop files. Anything that could bypass iTunes is a "security risk".

Face it guys, we don't fit the iPhone user profile. I even feel constrained using a Mac.

But with Android and other Google products, I feel my every move is being tracked in Google's master database.

Cue Michael Jackson's SOMEBODY'S WATCHING ME song (forget exact title).

But I'm glad people here have stated cnets obsession with Apple. I don't think there is a day that goes by without SOME kind of Apple story.

I still use them for research and stuff. It just irks me their blind devotion to Apple.......

They want the Apple users eyeballs. Those are the prime cash cow demographic. They'll buy anything white with an "i" in front of the name.

better question is wht do people jailbreak their iPhones, and risk voiding the warranty, when they could have purchased a Droid. The could have also avoided the headache of finding new ways to jailbreak the phone once the install a quote unquote "Security patch form Apple".
I rooted my Android phone and didn't look back.....There's so many great things you can do with a android ph w/regards to rooting it. Apple has and always will be so proprietary.....which is why I don't own any Apple product.....
