  1. I created avi file using Premiere 6.0 in None compression 352X240, 48 KHz Audio and burned with Nero creating Video CD. It played in computer. In middle part of video, I got hiss sound. When i tried to play the video in standalone VCD player. It didn't play at all. Pls help. I want my video to be played in all players. Here I am not concerned with DVDs.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Bhushan,

When you burned your file with Nero to VCD did Nero ask to transcode the file to MPEG1 ? Nero would. Because the AVI will be converted to VCD compliant MPEG1. Also your audio is not as per VCD specs. It shoud be MPEG 1 Layer 2 at 224 Kbps at 44100Hz sampling rate.

I suggest you go through the guides on conversion in this forum before proceeding.
When I was born I was so shocked that I could'nt speak for 18 months.

Adding insult to injury, Nero (random versions thruout the history) creates "not perfectly compatible" VCD, at least if you let Nero do a menu. Stick to the tried and trusted tools VirtualDub, TMPGenc, VCDEasy when creating VCD.
