  1. Is there any h264 frame accurate video editor I can use that will allow me to fast forward quickly?

    Did either of you try VideoRedo TV Suite H264? Standard settings on fast forward in the program are > One frame, >>30 Seconds, >>>2 minutes. But those buttons can be customized to whatever you need.

    I tried it again, and it's not bad. Better than solveigmm video splitter. But it's not as smooth as avidemux or tmpgenc authoring wizard. But those have their own issues...

  5. That doesn't solve the problem at all Kerry. Fast forwarding is still slow when you choose those options. The reason fast forwarding is slow is because the default h264 codec settings (nothing to do with any video program) use a default key-frame (IDR-Frame, in H.264) of 250. To get faster seeking you need to lower that number when encoding your video. 0 will make it as fast as MPEG2. The lower you go the larger the file sizes will get.
