Exactly what it is says on the title, what is good software to trim or cut .mp4 and .mkv files? I have a hard time doing this in Virtualdub2 as it always seem trim at the wrong time or I do have the right codec for the container. I just need to cut those videos as I am trying to create clips from those files and I am looking for something that supports lossless. I think I might had done something wrong and I need with find a codec that can support .mp4 and .mky files. Both Lossy and Lossless.

I heard some really bad things about the latest version of AVIDemux. Should I get an older version?
