    Hi guys.

This software is some kind of university work. I just want to have your feedbacks. + or -, I'll appreciate all.

    What it does:
In main window of program, search for movies on IMDb, and choose one. This program downloads and processes all related IMDb pages (up to 7 pages) and extracts movie information from them. Also it provides a full editor to edit retrieved information. Then you can save downloaded info as XML, JSON or text files.

May be a useful tool for those who collect movies.

    Movie Information Downloader v1.0.5

    VirusTotal Scan > Movie_Info_Downloader_v1.0.5.7z
    VirusTotal Scan > movinfdl.exe
    VirusTotal Scan > htmlagilitypack.dll

Edit: Now requires .NET Framework 4. Preinstalled on Windows 8 or newer, installabe on XP, Vista, and 7.

I agree, even though I primarily use Linux now, it still sickens me when I see an app that requires .NET.

Funny thing is you can prove that there is no need for .NET, handbrake, last time I installed it on Windows, required that I download and install .NET in order to install it and run yet there is a Linux port that runs just fine on Linux which obviously doesn't use .NET.

    So it's all lazy programming.

Thank you @sophisticles. I do agree too, but... I didn't have enough time to write this using C++ or something like that. I coded this with C#, and with the help of .NET Framework, this application took 3 months to complete. Without that, I really don't know how much it could be. Besides... this is not a commercial work, and I don't intend to release this for public. Take it easy...

Download link updated. Now it needs .NET 4 which is preinstalled on Win 8 and newer, and installable on XP, Vista, and 7.

The worst half hour of my life was that 30 second elevator ride with that Linux and/or Mac fanboy.

Always try your exe / 7z files with virustotal so you are not sharing any malware/virus crap from our server.

    Your files looks good:

(I would ignore the Qihoo-360 antivirus warning...)
