  3. Here is the video, converted and uploaded to a file host: https://workupload.com/file/3EDTY6k

If you have more of these type of videos, your system will work with Flip4Mac which will allow viewing and exporting that video. https://www.telestream.net/flip4mac/overview.htm

  6. Hello there! I have the same problem, except my files are from our Wedding Reception. I’ve tried everything above and while I can get the video to play, the audio doesn’t. I know there is audio in there in Windows Media Audio 9 Standard format, and similar to the OP these files did play when I received them. I’ve managed to export the audio to AIFF but it comes out garbled every few seconds, so it seems it doesn’t have the exact codec it needs. Would someone be willing to take a look?

  9. I don't have anything that plays the video or audio correctly. The only audio I could get was just a series of clicks and chrips. Using MKVToolNix or ffmpeg to remux to other containers didn't help.

Thanks for trying, jagabo. I’ve sent BananaFiasco a PM to see if he can make the conversion on the setup he listed above. It’s definitely a tough nut to crack because even between Flip4Mac versions results will vary (and later versions will actually not play the audio at all).
