Geoblock can be bypassed by adding --proxy to youtube-dl

youtube-dl --proxy 209.93.50.186:8080 https://live.tvplayer.com/bbctwo/5/prog_index.m3u8

However there's need to add cookies with --add-header

youtube-dl is just another CMD type app. You run the code through console.

Your code would be

youtube-dl --proxy 209.93.50.186:8080 --add-header "Cookie:insert_cookie_info_here" --referer "http://link_to_embeded_video" https://live.tvplayer.com/bbctwo/5/prog_index.m3u8

You can get the cookie info through browsers developer tools (under storage->cookies)

If you're in UK,you probably can delete the "--proxy 209.93.50.186:8080" if you're not geoblocked

You can use streamlink.Since i'm not in UK,i needed to use a VPN.

Your code:

streamlink  --tvplayer-email myemail@gmail.com --tvplayer-password mypassword https://tvplayer.com/watch/bbctwo best -o output.ts

SO you need to replace the myemail@gmail.com and mypassword with your actual login details.

Result:

C:\Streamlink\bin>streamlink  --tvplayer-email XXXXXXXX --tvplayer-password XXXXXXXXX https://tvplayer.com/watch/bbctwo best -o output.ts
