  3. I mean DV. when wrote when i say MP2 i mean subtype what used at least Finland for tv programms. Eyetv software supports deinterlace
DV/Quicktime export and DV is format which is common in digital videocameras at least. why i cannot use original MP2 it seems is interlaced (based fact there is sometimes difference beetween odd and even lines and motion looks bad) and ffmpegx deinterlace option dont change anything but picture still looks bad. and when i change no interlacing form Eyetv software picture looks exactly samekind "crap".

Yes, DV is a format. Part of that format is the interleaved LPCM (aka uncompressed) audio - NOT MP2. If you want to use MP2 with your DV video, you need to convert it to LPCM audio first (WAV if on a PC, AIFF if on a MAC is most common).

DV is normally SUPPOSED to be interlaced (whether NTSC or PAL), since it is an SD format based in an era where Interlaced was the norm. So you should not be deinterlacing it unless your ultimate display system DOES NOT support interlace. In which case, I would suggest much better algorithms for deinterlacing that what EyeTV can provide.

More info please! Starting from. Using. Going to. etc.

  5. Stuff what i get out form Eyeyv software recordings sometime looks when i use other players (at least with vlc) but when i try use deinterlace option with this preset and add subtitles get subttitles but another problem is still here and this reason motion looks bad like odd lines are picture and even lines are another picture. btw same sourcefiles play fine with eyetv software. looks like thet are made bad conversion in transmiting end.

    MediaInfo!

Sounds like EyeTV does not deinterlace correctly AND/OR you are viewing Interlaced footage on Progressive monitor (with bad deint conversion).

If something doesn't work right - could be the equipment, could be the software, could be the monitor, could be YOUR PROCESS/ASSUMPTIONS. Don't know without real clear info. Not going to ask again.

  7. I try ansver all things what i know! i understand you dont want ask again i try ansver all what i know.
and i going try make Eyetv transmitted file (MP2) to dvd movie.
Eyetv software deinterlace works with this display (Viewsonic computer monitor exact
model i dont remember but its 22" inch full hd with led backlight) fine when i use deinterlace option.
but when i open file what it makes with vlc get this crap result. and ffmpegx option which is deinterlace dont work. not at least sametime when i also try add burned subtitles. (preview dont work when deinterlace is selected).
What i dont tell ? i dont understand.

  8. I dpnt remeber what are exact settings what i used but using this source file i get even poorer result. when whole motion is pure mess. Sometimes i feel they make all possible things avoid home made recordings of tv programs.
