Any way to open old Intel Video Email Player attachments?

In the early 2000s, some webcams had a feature where you could send a video message via email, and it sent an executable player that would open and play the message.

Trying to open the file, I receive the message "Special decompression software is required for the audio/video contents to work properly. Do you want to download this software now?" If I press "Yes" it brings the error "Could not establish a connection with the server. The player could not automatically download the decompression software" most likely because Intel is no longer hosting the support files.

Is there any way to extract the video from this, or maybe an old driver or support file to open these messages?

You can extract the AVI with 7zip

You can play it with mpchc, vlc etc.. just about any common media player
