Hello, an anime movie is remastered this year, but sadly it has wrong colors, while I have a vcd rip of the movie which has most authentic colors, so I wish to color correct the remastered version so that it looks best, but I am still very new to video editing that I use handbrake to encode, that’s only tool I’m currently familiar with. can someone please tell me how to do that
regards

Not sure why you think a newly remastered version made from the original elements on a substantial budget is less accurate than a dingy vcd from decades ago. But that being said, you can pull the new version into DaVinci Resolve -- which is free -- and color correct to your heart's content.

You can use GamMatch plugin in AviSynth to match the "look" of the high resolution video with wrong colors to the low resolution VCD with right colors:

Or you can have your eyes examined. The VCD version looks just like the crap I expected it to look. If anything the remastered version has the correct colors and the VCD has I don;t know how to describe it.
