convert a AVI (RFBW codec) to another format

This is from Verint screen video of people talking on phone while working on the computer. The video can be opened Windows Media Player (default Windows 10 player) but can't be opened by any other applications (HandShake, Camtasia, Premiere) to convert to MP4.

I see the following when opened from Media Player Classic. From it, I can hear the audio but not seeing the video content. Is there an open source or even commercial program that can open it and convert to MP4?

This codec has a 500 € bounty offered by the VideoLAN team. So it won't be supported by ffmpeg / libavcodecs until anyone can provide secret knowledge.

The Verint RFB decoder appears to be provided as DMO. So it may be possible to decode it using a DirectShow filter graph (e.g. using DirectShowSource in AviSynth). No promises though. You can test it in GraphEditPlus / GraphStudioNext first.
