looking for the video link inside the video_source code

Hi, I am trying to find the video links to the videos that are on this page. These a clips of Kerri Gallagher. I am hoping she makes it to the Rio games next year.. and wins a medal.

(it seems there are a lot, in the video_source code, but i'm not sure anymore)

I just need at least one hint or clue that I can use for the rest that this site hosts. I can scrape the rest in my custom utility, once I add that "clue" in the app's search profile, so that I can ultimately use that in youtube-dl tool.

I am viewing videos from a few different websites that host videos (sports track and field), and they all seem to use the same host website, ooyala.com but I can't seem to figure out how to obtain them. If they are using the same basic method, then I should be able to find them all in similar ways on the webpages that I am visiting with these kinds of videos.

Another for instance, I am trying to find this video through URL Snooper, but can't find it so far.

Hi vhelp,

I'm not sure how biezom worked his magic but I found that the easiest way to grab that link was using "Internet Download Manager". It just worked without any messing about with viewing source-code, network traffic etc. They do a free 30 day trial which might suit your purposes, assuming that there are more videos you need from that site. Failing that, "RTMPDumpHelper" also worked for that video but required slightly more fiddling; it's free permanently (no trial period etc.)

got it. it works.. it has already downloaded the video, while still viewing the video (half way) on the timeline. tx again.

you can just disable flash plugin and use videodownload helper to find direct link (same quality that rtmpdumphelper)

to find the best quality it's a little more complicated

I don't mind the searching, just so long as I find the best link. But I already have videodownload helper installed on my firefox, but it causes everything to slow down to a crawl and then stalls and locks up and i'm forced to ctrl+alt+del out of it. For instance, on this link: http://www.trackie.com/track-and-field/TrackieTV/2013-oxy-hp-womens-1500m-h2-kate-van-buskirk/2682/ it did exactly that. plus, the clip it did offer was only the low quality. I am using the latest version of firefox, just installed that version yeterday.

PS: I also noticed that when i have both opera and firefox open, it causes opera to bloat and opera stalls on every tab I have opened.
