I have ripped a dvd and converted it to svcd with two audio languages (Using smartripper, dvdtoavi and TMPGenc). But when i come to burning it, i am forced into turning of standard compliance and i am unable to take advantage of the 10 or so percentage of extra video you can get by using nero. I.e. My 800mb mpeg2 does not fit on a 70min cd. IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN CHANGE THE OPTIONS IN NERO OR HOW I ENCODE THE FILM IN ORDER TO FIX THIS PROBLEM????????????
Thanx in advance for your help!!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Just turn off standard compliance and burn the thing. If your player plays it, theres nothing to loose sleep over.
Nero is especially picky on standard compliance with SVCDs. You must have a program stream with video 480x480 25fps or 29.976fps (incl. 23.976 with 3:2 pulldown flags), audio 44.1kHz on all of your audio tracks ... otherwise it will tell you your file is not compliant.
Again, just turn off standard compliance, burn the disc and get on with your life.
