add 5 second image to start of video

Does anyone have an ffmpeg script that can take an image, scale it, make it into a 5 second video and concat that to an existing video?

Before referring to the literrally hundreds of examples on the internet, know that I have tried one after another without success. The erroors are too numerous to list but the closest I have come gives an error that the DAR's are not the same. I've tried to set the DAR through filter_complex but i am really at a loss as to the structure of setting up a filter complex, let alone changing one. Each attempt has created a different error.

Really appreciate if someone has an ffmpeg script that will do this. Thanks

Do you really have to use ffmpeg?

No i do not necessarily need to use ffmpeg but as often the case, i would 'Rather' use ffmpeg or avisyth. Thank you
