Adding srt file to TS container?

Just like you can have a PGS sitting in the TS container, is there a program that can simple put the srt in it?

If that makes sense.

The only way you can add a srt to a ts container is with mkvmerge that i know.After that it will be a mkv container.

As far as I can tell, when I add the srt in TSmuxer, it just gets saved or converted to a PGS.

I see. You want the raw srt text inside the ts. You must use another container for that like johns0 mentions then.
