  1. Hi guys

I have recorded a video of Amazon Unbox so i could watch it on my PS3. Problem is the videos dimensions are 640x480 with a black bar on top and bottom and I would really like it to be 16:9 and fill the whole screen.

My question is what program and settings should I use to fix this?

(As a side note i used Wondershare Media Converter to record it of Unbox and the file is already Xvid avi)

Crop it to 640x360. Use for example xmedia recode, open video, under format choose avi and video codec xvid(mp4 with h264 might also work fine), under filters/preview choose crop and crop to 640x360(you can try use the auto crop-button also). Add job and convert.

  3. Thank you - I'll try it out!

Is it correct that i set the resolution first to 640x360 and the crop 60x60 (top and bottom) ?

Also is it best if i use Tunebite and then "Keep Original" for audio and video and encode it in xmedia recode?

I guess so. But try and try and try. And yep you can keep original for the audio.
