Ok, I'm looking into getting a new video card so I can watch divx movies on my TV.
First of all, my system is old, 350mhz, 256mb ram, voodoo3 agp...anyways, I think my motherboard has a agp 1x slot, so would a 2x or 4x card even work? I'm thinking about completely getting a new system, but that'll take some time.
If I were to invest in a new card, it would mostly be for its tv out capabilities, then it's performance in games (I still need a better cpu). I'm not trying to spend a lot, maybe around $100. If you guys could give me an opinion, thanks.

  2. well i went out and bought an agp slot graphics card the other day, but to my surprise the card required three slots and my computer system only had 2.
this meant i had to change for a pci slot graphics card.
the one i came up with was
    "creative geforce2mx(32mb - sdr - pci)

along with my celeron 700 mhz system, 256mb ram this is a very good card to use.
even though i have a cable connection, i thought playin online games would still be stuttery when i play, but it runs very smoothly online.
this card cost me..£89.99 in england
i think this card is quite an old one.. but it suits me fine....
graphics are fast and good quality....
