    I need help making a music video i tried joining some files with tmpgenc and it says crap about oh the mpg files dont match or whatever and the clips are all mpg and also can someone help me add bg music also? Thanks.

    They probably have a different audio/video bitrate. Encode them both in the same format and then try to join them!
