  1. Hi,
    I have videos that I have recovered from deleted files. but I can't play these videos in any video player. As a software, I don't know anything about it. I need help from someone who is an expert on this. And frankly, with these videos, I will be able to prove my right in a lawsuit. because the video I have is a security camera footage.


    When I want to play mpc-hc it gives an error like this...

  2. Open the file in a hex editor.
    if you see all zeros, the file is empty and you are out of luck.

    sorry but i don't understand computer and software. What kind of program should I use for the hex editor. can you help a little more?

  4. Google for free hex editor and choose one.

    Looks at it's contents. See if it's all zeros


    as per ProWo
    if you see all zeros, the file is empty and you are out of luck.

    I installed it and it's not all zero. but the video is not playing. What should I do in this situation?

    The other useful thing is to look at the header in the hex editor, the very first page, and compare it to a known good file of the same type
