Hi, I notice that a kind of hdcp , protecting something, did not allow genuine users to watch the streaming videos on the tv, by hdmi connection.
the purpose of the available connection is totally curbed by the video card driver providers or something the system does.
Would not the system allow genuine users to watch the programs on tv, with pc enabling dual mode or duplicate mode.
It is also peculiar that my pc is shown as second device instead of the first, and so, when i connect the hdmi cable, the pc becomes blank to make arrangement to browse to the video to play on tv.
Nvidia never allows you to install drivers , even though you give email etc.
That simply produces xml kind of errors not allowing to furthr installation.

Disabling of dual mode with hdcp-protected content is by design. The entire system (each & every link in the chain) must be "secure" in order for hdcp to trust the system. If it doesn't trust the system, it will output either a reduced quality sd version, or nothing/black/blank/snow.

If you think your system is secure & legit yet it is doing that anyway, look again, because you very well could be missing something.

    Check:
    Video card
    Video drivers
    Cabling
    Motherboard & CPU
    interposing devices
    Display
    Player application
    Application's API / AV subsystem
