  1. Using Adobe Encoder I converted my HD video to mpeg2. There are a few scenes that are giving jagged lines, I've attached the examples. In the church the flash causes this and then a close up with fast motion, The rest of the conversion seems to be okay. I've also attached the settings. Thanks, Phil

  2. You have interlaced video. You have to use interlace aware techniques for resizing, or deinterlace. If Adobe Encoder doesn't recognize your source is interlaced override what it thinks of the source and force it to interlaced. I don't know that package but with many editors you right click on the video in the time line and select properties, or some such.
