    after I convert a avi file to mpeg with TMPGEnc, it does not have picture only sound, and when I convert the same file with avi2vcd, the movie is upside down, is there any way to fix this? And is there anymore free software that could convert avi-mpeg???

    try LSX,XING,PAnasonic Mpeg Encoder..sorry i dont know any soloution about ur problem

    but they couldn't convert a 1 hour movie if I don't have the code
