Am using Windows 10 on my desktop pc and casting to my LG OLED65E6P.
I have a number of mkv and mp4 video files and when I cast them to my tv
some of them, about 2 or 3 out of 20, the image that results on my tv is elongated.
Why? How can I correct this? That same file when I play it on my pc with Media Player Classic shows the correct aspect ratio.
The one am doing right now is an mp4
Width : 1 920 pixels
Height : 804 pixels
Display aspect ratio : 2.40:1
Frame rate mode : Variable
Frame rate : 23.976 (24000/1001) FPS
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Your casting software doesn't understand adjustment for intended display aspect ratio. Plus, you've already hurt your material by removing the letterboxing.

The casting software, in this case, would be Windows 10? Can anything be done to Windows 10 to cause it to adjust to widescreen?
